Read Across Maryland PSA

CCEA President Celeste Jordan talks about Read Across Maryland, to be held March 23, 2024, in this public service announcement.

Read Across Maryland will be held on Saturday, March 23^rd at the Carroll County Career & Technology Center from 9 AM to Noon.

 This event and all activities are free. We provide a free pancake breakfast for children (but ask adults for a donation, which we use to buy more books).

Each child picks out a new book to take home, courtesy of Penguin Random House.

Plus games and activities for the children and special performances from the drama departments of Liberty HS and South Carroll HS.

All activities are designed to promote and encourage the love of reading or skills needed for reading.
